The little that is being done is insignificant in the larger perspective. Add to this the fact that safety is not given the importance it deserves in our daily life. If one were to analyse road accidents in India most of them are caused due to speeding on bad roads, overtaking on blind spots, poor road design, obstructions on road, poor warning signals, not wearing helmets when on a two-wheeler and so on. Understanding safety measures and knowing the lurking dangers are the first step in beinf safer in our daily life.
